Creating Learners for Tomorrow Through STEM

My Students

My students walk into to my classroom every day eager to learn and share new ideas with each other as well as myself. I greet them at the door every morning to let the know that there is someone who cares about how they are doing and loves them no matter what.

They love coming to school because many believe this is their safe place.

My school is a Title 1 school and all of our students receive free breakfast. Many of my students are also involved in a weekend backpack program to receive food for time out of school. They want to be able to become successful leaders in their future.

My Project

STEM bins allow our students to think outside the box and build critical thinking skills. Through the work with the STEM bins, students will practice Science, Technology, Engineering and Math skills to help better prepare them for their future.

With the STEM bins my students will develop critical thinking to help make them more competitive for their future endeavors.

The STEM bins will give learners an opportunity to use manipulatives to build and create, rather than your traditional styles for learning. This will allow students to spotlight their own strengths and show their greatest abilities. Students will enjoy STEM time every morning when they enter school to start their day successfully.
