My kindergarten classroom is a place for students to feel welcome, safe, accepted, and comfortable! Kindergarten is a year of many firsts for students, and they deserve to have a personalized learning experience!
Five and six-year-olds are full of curiosity, wonder, and excitement and my job as their teacher is to provide them an environment where they can fulfill all of these qualities.
Each of my students is unique and I want to provide each students with a unique learning experience!
My Project
I want to provide my students with books that will both inspire them and motivate them to be more mindful, empathetic, compassionate, caring, persistent, confident, and resilient.
Kindergarten is a time for students to learn and grow, and what better way to help than through a library of new books!
Children are like sponges and what they see and hear can be part of them. Reading books about mindfulness, empathy, compassion, caring, perseverance, confidence, and resilience will instill these great attributes in my students.
The more I expose my students to these great qualities, the more they are likely to expose them to others!
