My students are active learners. They are digital learners who crave different tools to help with their educational process. They learn best by using hands-on materials to learn and discover.
We believe that every student who walks through our doors should be given every opportunity to learn and grow.
Giving my students a strong foundation is such an important way to get their educational careers started on the right path. I hope to make a difference for each of my students by finding new ways to get them excited about learning.
My Project
This summer we are having a maker camp where students will have a week to explore different tools in our makerspace. They will be put into teams and one of their jobs will be to create a team logo. The plan is for them to then use our Silhouette Cameo to make their logo into team shirts. They will use the heat transfer vinyl and the new heat press. These tools will then be kept in our media makerspace for students to continue to use for different projects throughout the year.
These tools will help to allow for my students to show their creativity in a variety of ways.
