Creating Emotionally Intelligent Students

My Project

In order for students to understand who they are, they need to understand the little intricate parts of themselves. This means diving deep into social emotional learning with morning meetings and activities that address social skills and emotional knowledge.

When students feel safe, supported, and, most importantly, secure in their abilities, then they are truly ready to learn.

In order to provide these things, we need a classroom of students who can respect the boundaries of others, speak kind words, and understand the importance of relationships.

I have assembled materials that will allow our class to build these skills, and I am so excited for the outcome.
