Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My loving students come from low-income homes. Most of the school students are non-English speaking students. About 80% of the school population receives free or reduced-price lunch and breakfast.

It would be so nice to come to school and have a nice learning environment.

My classroom atmosphere is warm and nurturing so that my students feel comfortable and safe.

Some of my students live in a shelter. Some of my students share their bedroom with their whole family because several families live in a house that is supposed to be for one family.

My Project

My students will have the opportunity to be creative and use their imagination to create building structures and creations by using a variety of building materials.

The Building bricks and Tumbletree timber blocks will allow our children to explore and stimulate their imagination.

By stimulating their imagination children may become engineers of our future.

We often forget that children need time to be creative and we need to allow time in our busy academic schedule for creative play.

Children need to have social interaction with their peers . Creative play and social skills are being replaced by technology! Children need to interact with each other and not with their video games!
