My students are energetic and inquisitive. They are eager and ready to learn about music. Each student has their own set of talents and strengths. They enjoy playing instruments and learning new skills in class.

Students are excited to learn musical concepts and love making musical connections with others. My students are in need of classroom percussion instruments to support our rhythm reading skills.
My Project
My students are very excited about music class and for the opportunity to play instruments in class. We have been working on cooperative learning skills and improvising, through using rhythm and melody instruments. Kalimbas are a great handheld instrument for small hands to create compositions with.
Rhythm and melody instruments in the music classroom give students the ability to create music alone and within groups.
They learn cooperative skills while creating music together.
Help us to develop our cooperative learning skills while learning rhythm and composing. The new instruments will be added to instruments that we currently have, and will help to expand our sound compositions.
