This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have been teaching for 19 years and I am grateful to work in a wonderful diverse magnet school in the Hartford, CT area. Our district, CREC, is based on equity for all. Our school has a Museum theme and we learn through projects in science and social studies which require us to create and organize our materials in a way that they are accessible to students. Your donation will help us give our students what they need to access materials for their exhibits. These exhibits are displayed for Museum Exhibition nights for the community.
