My Students

I have a wonderful fourth grade class of kind and caring students. Many of my students are struggling readers and some are English language learners. Many are below grade level in their reading levels and need books that best fit them. My goal as a teacher is to get all my students to love reading no matter what level they read on.

My students are working on building reading skills that will allow them to enjoy a lifetime love of reading.

My hope is to provide students with books that interest them for independent reads as well as interesting read-aloud books to help them develop the skills they need to be successful readers.

My Project

The items in this project will help create a space where supplies are organized and accessible to my students. Having this furniture will allow me to layout space for students to develop learning opportunities. This project will give students flexible seating options. Since last year having students unable to leave their designated space last year to allow them to work in groups and partnerships again, these options will allow for strong group work.

This will lead to students having different opportunities to find space feel comfortable, and create a love of learning.
