This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The snacks I requested will incentivize the students to actively participate in class, stay on task, and enforce good behavior. Instead of reinforcing what not to do in the classroom, I want to be able to support what students should be doing in the school by giving out rewards when I see students trying their best and applying themselves to work. When the other students see students receiving tips, it will motivate the off-task students to become more involved in the classroom and increase student engagement. The students get excited when they know there is some reward for them, and I would love to be able to supply these treats to them when they put their best foot forward.
