Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Despite our increased understanding of the importance of being active, recent World Health Organisation (WHO) data shows that inactivity stubbornly remains a global issue for today’s society and inactivity is slowly becoming an epidemic! This is something I'd like to change and I can with your help!
My students are multisport athletes who excel not only athletically but also academically!
We are a very small town where everyone knows your name. The kids work hard but are often not able to receive the necessary equipment needed to aid them in their path to athletic success. Getting the student population more active requires long-term persistence and collaboration and no single intervention or organisation can respond to or solve the challenge alone this is why I am asking for your help!
My Project
These items will help my team tremendously! You will be helping me keep my athletes hydrated with the igloo water cooler while also providing protection from the south Texas sun in between matches and practice periods.
My athletes will be so excited for the backpacks which will really help them feel like they are an actual team that matters!
They have never had team backpacks and I know they will appreciate all these items so much!
My volleyball team will also benefit from the new training assistants! This item will really help them correct their form which in turn will help boost their confidence! This will help them want to continue to play and stay in the volleyball program!
