This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are amazing, excited about school, and eager to learn. I am very fortunate to be a part of their learning foundation. It takes a lot of resources for my students to become successful during their school experience. In order to become successful, they will need to be provided with a hands-on learning experience.
My goal is to find ways to keep students safe, focused, and engaged.
I want my students to be inspired and have fun doing it.
My Project
In pre-k, students need instruction that is sensory-based, adapted, and differentiated. Being able to laminate activities and the use of velcro dots will be able to provide such experience.
The velcro and magnetic strips will be used to create adaptive interactive books that support fine motor skills.
The plastic envelopes will be used by students to store mini books and center pieces. The having strong and durable tape will also allow me to hang up student work around the classroom. It is important to have the necessary supplies to create long lasting and engaging learning activities for my students.
