it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Hello! I am a proud teacher of twenty-two 2nd grade students at a Title I school in Roma, Texas. My students are wonderful; they inspire me to make a positive impact in their lives. They are eager learners, and I am so excited to be able to teach in person this school year!
My Project
The love of reading is something that I want to instill in my students. My students will find new motivation to want to read by sitting in a new classroom carpet area with new books to enjoy!
Every child deserves to have an opportunity to cuddle up with a book to read!
Not only will the carpet serve as a library reading area, but as a place for my daily read aloud time. I am sure my students will feel comfortable and excited sitting in such a beautiful learning space! My students will benefit from the collection of books because they will have more reading material to select from. By funding my project, you are helping foster the love of reading in my classroom.
