My class is made up of 19 awesome students. They love to be active through centers. We do Daily 5 math and math workshop to keep the kids moving. My students learn best through the multiple intelligence and using different activities to engage the intelligence's.
My students love to have change in the classroom, have choice, and to have hands-on activities.
Many students at this age are looking for ways to keep moving. My class is no different. With three years of teaching experience, I understand that students are always looking for ways to move and be active.
My Project
This year I started a flexible seating classroom. It has gone great. The students love all the different seating options. One thing I feel is missing is the opportunity to meet as a whole group at a seating area.
I believe by these NeoShape tables it will allow my students to meet together and collaborate as a group.
I also believe that it will allow students to pull off into smaller groups if needed. We these tables I believe it will help my flexible seating be even more successful.
With these 6 tables we will start off each lesson as a whole group. After the lesson is finished, students will be able to divide up to 6 groups or individual to assess their learning.
