Creating a Unique Space for Students.

My students need a classroom that is warm and inviting. A Cricut will help them create amazing, creative projects for project based learning.

My Students

The students in our district predominantly come from lower income families. Over 60% receive free or reduced lunch. Many of my students will require materials provided by the teacher. This is something I have done out of pocket but I can't afford everything that they need.

I want to make an awesome room that will inspire my students to learn.

To do this, I would like to take advantage of some flexible seating opportunities. The first step for this would be tables. Most of our classroom instruction focuses on working together in small groups so grouped seating around tables is an ideal classroom arrangement.

My Project

I have decided to try a Cricut for helping me create a personalized, warm, inviting classroom. I've used pre-made signs in the past. A Cricut Air 2 will let me create personalized decorations. It will also be useful for projects the students work on.

Using a Cricut will help both teacher and students have a creative year.

This will be for the class and our project.

Students often struggle with ways to make their projects, for project based learning, stand out. By being able to design decorations and have a Cricut available, we can create student's visions- regardless of artistic aptitude.
