Creating a Thinking Classroom

Help me give my students a thinking classroom with vertical learning and critical thinking.

My Project

I am trying to update my classroom and create a thinking classroom with vertical learning spaces and hands-on activities, on a daily basis. We need tape to put materials into an interactive notebook for students. We need magnets to hold student papers or anchor charts on the board, dry erase markers to work problems out and the magnetic holders will keep the board space in order for students and keep their materials easily available for them.

A thinking classroom encourages an environment for students to show their thinking and become better at sharing their ideas.

Through the process of thinking, students become better math students and learn ways to communicate their needs. Each time they are working, I have the opportunity to see and encourage their thinking, so they become better students of math.
