My Project

Students need repetitive experience with a phonics skill before words containing that skill become words they recognize by sight.

These magnetic tiles/boards and decodable books will provide the students the opportunity to create and read words containing the current phonics skill they are in the process of mastering.

This project will enable the students to have a complete class set of grade 1 magnetic boards and one set of books that match the progression of phonics patterns learned in the Fundations program. One set of grade 2 and grade 3 tiles and one set of grade 2 decodable books is included to challenge students that have already mastered grade 1 phonics.
