Creating a Robotic Hand in the Art Room!

My Students

Our school serves 590 students from very unique and diverse backgrounds. Many of my students come from low- income families that face many challenges every day. As an elementary art teacher in a Title I school, my students are in need of additional help and support both in and out of the classroom.

Despite economic challenges, my students are eager and excited to explore the world through the arts!

In the art room, students are able to express themselves by participating in several creative and hands-on​ art projects. My students are encouraged to think in new ways. With dedication and determination, my visual art students are able to achieve greatness!

My Project

With your help, my fifth grade visual arts students will have the opportunity to experience Robotics in the art room. This engineering project will teach students all about the world of robotics! With these supplies, students can create a moving, bendable hand.

This project encourages the exploration of robotics, engineering, and creative thinking, making it an ideal STEAM activity for students.

It encourages students to think about how the human body functions, robotic technology in the real world, and elements of design. It incorporates elements of STEM and art for a dynamic and entertaining learning opportunity.
