My students need books that they are interested in to develop the love of reading and the skills they need to feel confident as readers on all levels.

My Students

I have a wonderful fourth grade class of kind and caring students. Many of my students are struggling readers and some are English language learners. Many are below grade level in their reading levels and need books that best fit them. My goal as a teacher is to get all my students to love reading no matter what level they read on.

My students are working on building reading skills that will allow them to enjoy a lifetime love of reading.

My hope is to provide students with books that interest them for independent reads as well as interesting read aloud books to help them develop the skills they need to be successful readers.

My Project

The books I am asking for will help my students develop a love for reading. I read aloud to my students everyday; having these new books will help keep our love of reading growing. These books will also support my English as a New Language learners by supplying visuals to help them gain a stronger understanding.

These read aloud stories will help students develop the skills they need to grow as readers.

The book sets I am asking for will foster the development of my students' reading comprehension skills by allowing them to engage with stories and ideas that interest them. My students are kind and loving; they will be so excited to be able to find books they enjoy
