I inspire my students from the famous words or Dr. Seuss's, "The more that you read, the more that you know, the more that you learn, the more places you'll go!!" I want every child to have the opportunity to pursue their wildest dreams. Reading opens a gate to a world of success and opportunity.
My students are surrounded by poverty.
Everywhere they turn there is hardship. The struggle for an education is more than it should be. Children should be worried about the homework that is due tomorrow and not about what they will eat for dinner. All my students are truly unique and have the potential to succeed they just need better materials to start their engines. The school they attend is considered Title I, but we still do not have enough money to provide my students with the best education.
My Project
We need 30 copies of the The Maze Runner to complete our novel unit in class. The Maze Runner is a new hip novel that will help inspire my students to become better readers and turn homework into a hobby. I believe this novel is the gate to opening their minds and fight for a better tomorrow. Please be the change I fight for everyday. Be the change that creates a better tomorrow! Fight for our right to live a better life! Spend a penny. It means so much to so many!
