My Students

We have a bunch of students who are fun-loving, creative, and curious! Our students all attend a rural school serving approximately 70 students k-8. Between kindergarten and 1st grade, there are only 15 students. These students are naturally curious and we constantly catch them creating new games, drawing, and using supplies to create things. We would like to help use this creativity and give them the manipulative materials that Legos offer. Using Legos, our students will be given endless opportunities to have hands-on STEM activities. We can use these Legos as math manipulatives as well as for science, engineering, and technology projects. Help give our kindergarten and 1st graders the chance to have hands-on and fun STEM experiences!

My Project

Students will be able to use these Legos as a way to have fun with STEM. With this set, students can explore vehicles by building different cars, build bridges and other architecture pieces with the bricks, use the colored pieces as math manipulatives to help learn how to count, sort, add, and subtract, as well as a whole plethora of other projects. With 10 sets, that will be enough to have shared sets between multiple classrooms at the same time. Using these Lego sets allows students to learn in a way they have never learned before!
