My Students
My first grade students are amazing energetic, fun lovely children who have a drive to learn. They are like sponges absorbing all the information they can receive from me or anyone who present to them. Most of my children are Spanish speaking with English as a second language. Many of the parents are only Spanish speaking.
The students come to school daily ready to learn with their friends.
They are excited to be surrounded in a safe, comfortable cozy learning environment. I see them walk into our classroom full of life ready to learn and excited for what is in store for them that day. I feel honored to have the responsibility to teach these amazing first graders and prepare them for the next grade.
My Project
My first graders enjoy coming to school everyday learning with their friends. All morning, they are engaged by standard classroom subjects. They are so excited to share their lunch time with friends. Several days and weeks the children are inside for recess due to weather conditions.
The puzzles, games, flashcards, chap sticks, healing lotions, disinfecting sprays and Kleenex will provided a fun, learning healthy environments for all students.
They can interact with small groups during their recess while laughing and playing with their friends. Many students come to school with dry hands, faces and legs. Their lips are chapped during the cold months in Michigan. They will have a supply of lotions and chap sticks to get them through the chilly months.
