Creating a Diverse Library Collection!

Help me give my students books written by and about underrepresented groups. Our school is very diverse and I want my students to see themselves in the books they read.

My Project

My students are from all over the world and love seeing themselves and their culture represented in the books they find in the library.

Our goal is to continue to provide our students with titles that reflect their own lived experiences, as well as a window into that of others.

These specific books have been chosen to reflect that diversity and celebrate the richness and pride our students feel when sharing their culture with others. Our collection already includes titles by some of these amazing authors and our students are always asking for more.
