Being a teacher at a Title 1 school is one of the most amazing experiences I've been given. I have the opportunity to teach a diverse group of students and create a space where they can thrive and explore their education and creativity. Each day is a new opportunity for them to grow.
While my students come from various backgrounds and have different learning styles, they all share the same desire to learn and grow at school.
They deserve every opportunity to be successful and I aspire to help them achieve their goals.
My Project
The materials in this project will help my students to not only feel comfortable in the classroom but to thrive as they learn. Flexible seating is an important part of our room and I strive to meet the needs of each one of my students. The wobble cushions, stools, and floor seats allow my students to choose the seating option that is most comforting to them. This will help my students to stay engaged throughout the day.
