My students need the Alpha-bots and number-bots to enrich their academic success. The Color Discovery tubes are a great tool to help young children learn their colors.
Pre-K students are the most fun! They see life with fresh eyes, and everything is exciting and fun!
We work on academics, motor skills, and social emotional learning every day, all through play!
We are in an urban setting and more than 70% of our students are below the poverty line. Being in our class gives these kids a leg up on their education and a head start on relationships they'll foster in the future!

My Project
Teaching my students their letters and sounds is the beginning steps to reading. What better way for them to learn their letters then using everyday heroes like transformers. The Alpha-Bots and the Number-Bots will help teach my students their letters and numbers in a transforming way that the students can relate to.
Additionally, my students lack access to materials in the art center, which is vital in the development a fine motor skills.
As kids fine motor skills improve they start experimenting with materials, which can enhance their love of science. Most importantly, when kids feel good about their creations it can help boost self confidence.
