I have the pleasure of teaching in one of the most culturally diverse areas in the nation. Our school community is like family, and we support each other in every possible way.
My 32 incoming fifth graders are ready to inquire, explore, and collaborate, and I would love to give them a variety of tools to foster their love of learning in a 21st century classroom.

My Project
I have the privilege of teaching 32 fifth grade students in a self- contained classroom in one of the most diverse areas in the nation.
The students, who were once my third grade students, have extremely diverse learning needs, and project-based learning opportunities bring the classroom population together for meaningful, hands-on, real-world learning experiences and valuable collaboration time.
In order to provide them with the richest experiences possible, I would like to offer them the tools necessary to engage in projects across all academic areas in a cross-curricular fashion. Allowing the students to make connections across all academic areas using a variety of modalities and tools makes their educational experiences more meaningful and memorable.
