Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The future is innovative. Employers are looking for creative problem solvers who collaborate well with others. In an effort to train students for their future, we need a classroom that lends itself to collaborative conversations.
My 6th graders are the future.

My Project
A creative classroom in 2022 includes collaboration pods. We are looking for flexible seating to that encourages collaborative conversations, which will foster problem-solving and innovative thinking. Now that we are back together in the classroom, having spaces for students to collaborate will help us move forward in our post-pandemic learning.
Our flexible seating plan will allow students to work in groups or independently around the room.
With wedge stools, we can create pods for a student group, or separate them, as they are easily transportable.
Innovative thinking is encouraged with an innovative classroom climate. It is time to rethink the 1950's classroom with rows of desks. A classroom in 2022 has come a long way! Help me inspire collaborative, creative thinking to inspire today's students as the leaders of tomorrow!
