Creating a Classroom Library

Help me give my students an organized classroom library. We have many books in our classroom library and these bookshelves will help my students be able to find and organize books they are interested in.

My Students

My class is made up of 28 students from a variety of backgrounds. In fourth grade, we work on not just academics but also learning appropriate social and emotional skills to be good students, classmates, and people.

My students are curious, energetic, and excited about learning.

They love working together in groups and playing different types of learning games. One of our favorite things to do is to sit and read and talk about books together. It makes me excited that the future of our world is in my classroom.

My Project

These bookshelves will help me to create a fantastic classroom library for my students where they can easily look for books they are interested in reading and also return books they have read to share with their classmates. By having these bookshelves, I can label and organize our library into different genres that students, and their classmates, can easily find books they know they will be interested in reading. Students will not have to dig around searching for books in baskets and waste valuable reading time. These bookshelves would be a wonderful addition to our classroom!
