My Students

Inquisitive, intuitive, eager, hilarious, and fun-loving! I am a lucky to be surrounded by kiddos each day that fit this description. I teach 5th grade in a working class suburb of Cleveland, to a diverse population of students. My students have many strengths and together we are able to create an amazing collaborative classroom community.

It is my goal for my students to be technologically literate and able to successfully navigate technology to increase learning opportunities in the classroom, and together in our virtual classroom.

My Project

The 3 Chromebooks I am requesting will help my students become 21st century learners! Chromebooks will be used for a variety of projects including literature, research and writing. In order to become 21st century learners, it is important for students to not only navigate technology, but evaluate resources, and choose appropriate platforms for their learning.

If the expectation is that students leave college and career ready, they can not do this without access to technology each and every day!

A Chromebook station in my classroom will allow me to better differentiate my instruction and provide individualized instruction to students who need extra support.
