Create, Play, and Build: Kindergartners Work Together!
Help me give my students 7 sets of the ultimate fort builders and storage to keep it in.
This project expired on April 7, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
I have a fantastic class! It is filled with energetic, enthusiastic and motivated learners. My students have a unique variety of abilities, interests, and learning styles. They are sweet, kind, caring, and really funny! They love school and they are really eager to learn.
In kindergarten, it is developmentally appropriate to have lessons where the kids have opportunities to interact hands-on and creatively.
In kindergarten, we must focus on rigorous academics, free play, creativity, and developing fine and gross motor skills.
Creativity and imagination is magic in kindergarten. I am requesting 7 sets of the ultimate fort builder. This is a set of poles and connectors that the children can use their engineering skills, creativity, and imagination to build forts, play houses, and other structures.
The storage unit is so these sets can be kept outside in the kindergarten yard for all the classrooms to enjoy.
The children will develop team work skills and learn how to be inclusive through this free play activity.
Having opportunities for group work and creativity are essential to develop at a young age.
Thank you for supporting my classroom and public schools.
