Help me give my students an incentive to do their at home learning by creating rewards “spirit shirts” that they can wear when we return to school with the heat transfer vinyl, tee shirts and weeding tools.
My students are trying their best to learn from home. Forty-nine percent of the students are minority students and thirty-three percent come from disadvantaged households.
I want to give my students a fun incentive to complete their learning at home.
My school district is not taking grades from at home learning, so I would like to set up a reward system for them to earn rewards for work that they complete at home.
My Project
My students are currently learning at home. Since they are learning at home, and not everyone has equal access to help, we are not taking grades on this work. However, some kids are going above and beyond to make sure that their work is competed. I would like to reward that dedication by making rewards tee shirts for the students who complete all of their at home learning assignments. I am hoping that this chance of a reward will motivate even more students to complete their work.
Students who complete the “At Home Learning Challenge” will receive a spirit shirt that says “Completed 2020 At Home Learning Challenge” which the kids will be able to wear to school during spirit shirt days.
