My preschool program serves children ages 3 to 5 from predominantly low-income families that qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. The families cover a wide range of cultures, and the students speak different languages at home. Many of my students come to preschool for their first educational experience and that includes children with English language learners.
My scholars are active learners, especially when they apply their learning through hands-on activities.
At school, we try our best to provide a variety of learning materials for our students, but it can be challenging. In order to fulfill the needs, it is essential to provide the necessary equipment and materials for these students to continue their learning paths.
My Project
The art center is the most popular station this school year. I want to supply the children with markers, feathers, googly eyes, stickers, tissues paper, craft sticks, colored macaroni, paint sticks, and more for their art supplies.
Creativity expression through art provides children opportunities to express ideas and feelings during the pandemic.
The art materials I am requesting are not only fun and entertaining, but educational. Children will be able to create the alphabet letters with wiki sticks by twisting the sticks to form the alphabet. Mold and play sensory sand set will allow my children to explore through sensory play. I also want to supply some basic classroom supplies of geoboard design, jumbo pegs, pattern design cards, number cards, and games.
Thank you, and I can't wait to see the kids in action with the new supplies!
