This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My classroom is full of bright, lively third graders who love to learn! Many of my students come to school hungry for knowledge. I strive to engage all students in the power of learning and create lifelong learners who recognize the importance of learning and reading daily.
My students love to read and write and we do so every day!
We are changing the future, one word and one page at a time. Thank you for stopping by my page and supporting us!
My Project
My students are diverse in so many ways: learning styles, interests, and of course culture. Help me celebrate each child’s uniqueness with this culturally based arts project.
My students need crayons, colored pencil and construction paper in a variety of skin colors, also called “people colors.” We know that every skin tone is unique, and allowing students to fully express their culture through art grows self understanding and self confidence.
Students will be able to learn about and celebrate each other’s cultures through art! Thank you for your generosity as we grow our multicultural understanding for many years to come!
