This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class is excited to learn a new technique in painting, Mandala. We have learned about Vincent Van Gogh and created replicas of his masterpieces. They learned about shadows and contrasting, highlighting and softening.

My students are ready and eager to learn about Mandala art.

My students are mentors for a kindergarten class and we Zoom with a middle school Art teacher monthly. Our classes need the supplies to begin a new art session with Mandala tools. After our art is completed, we will host a virtual art gallery to share our work.
