My Project

Every year, my students capture my heart in just the first few days of school, and this year is no different. I consider my students an extended part of my 'ohana or family. The group of students I have this year are nothing less than AMAZING! Each day, they enter the class with the kind of positive energy that fills the room with excitement. As a class, we work hard each day and continually challenge each other to be the BEST we can be. Students enter the classroom with a purpose and they make every day count. Together, we are making the most BEAUTIFUL memories!

As a teacher, I want to provide my students with everything they need in order to be successful in my class.

Every year, I make it a priority to create a classroom environment that is highly interactive and encourages collaboration and group work. However, due to the pandemic, teachers were forced to adapt their teaching styles and routines to fit the health and safety needs of their children. It is exciting to be able to give students the opportunity to once again work alongside a friend or in a small group. Collaborating with classmates makes what students are learning much more meaningful and will ultimately enrich their learning experience. The supplies I am kindly requesting will help students develop a much more concrete understanding of the STEM lessons and provide students with hands-on experiences.
