This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I work with students in grades K-5 who come from different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our wonderful students want to be happy, healthy, and positive learners but many need additional social-emotional supports.
Unemployment, family issues, and constantly changing environments are some of the problems our students are burdened with.
In order to provide our students with the tools to create a positive social and emotional environment, funding is needed.
Our school is full of wonderful staff and teachers who care deeply about our students and want to support them but we are in need of additional social-emotional resources.
My Project
By donating to our project you will provide me, our students, and teachers with resources to help our sweet kiddos have a positive and supportive environment dedicated to nurturing their social and emotional well-being.
The use of fidget tools will create an environment supportive of ALL students and establish a comfortable learning setting.
The books will help provide myself as well as teachers with additional resources to share with students and help them understand and empathize with each other generating a positive community for all.
Funding this project will improve our students overall learning environment. It will help our students thrive for a lifetime.
