My students are Special Education students taking a lower level English class. My students read at an elementary level. They accept my everyday challenges and are willing to learn. Every day is a different day for my students. My students like to do extended projects with the books we read. They like to do group work and to do research using their Chromebooks. My students make me so proud. They have come a long way since the beginning of the school year. I love that they are excited about learning.
My Project
This project will help my students to enjoy reading again. Their reading levels are at lower elementary level and I am hoping to expose them to different literature so that maybe they will want to learn to read at a higher level. I am hoping to do different projects with these books. We have two six weeks left of school and I want my students to read two more books. These new books will help us reach our reading goals for the year. This project will reach 24 students. It will also help to expand my classroom library. Love reading.
