My students are eager, curious, and engaged in learning. They love to crawl under a desk and read a book or lay on the floor with their Chromebook to write a story. They ask many questions and have a huge desire to get them answered. They are high energy, highly involved, and like to take risks. They are fun, fearless, and fabulous learners that love the unexpected classroom that may throw a curve to get them thinking and keep them curious.
My Project
I am requesting materials to enhance my Art Exploration elective. I would like my students to be able to paint on real canvas, so they feel like an artist. I want them to learn to draw with charcoal so they can see how to create amazing drawings. I want them to be able to sculpt with clay.
My students will explore all aspects of the art world!
By learning to paint on a real canvas, they will understand what a real artist does. Blending charcoal to enhance their drawings will give them a sense of awe on what a difference it makes. I am excited to share these experiences with my students.
