My Students

Our students come from an extremely diverse background. We are a Title I school with more than 50% of our population on free or reduced lunch. We have the deaf and hard of hearing program for our school district. Our students speak several languages, including sign language. We have a PreK learning disabled class and a K-1 class of students with autism. And we also teach general education students K-6, including clusters of GATE identified students.

We celebrate our school's diversity every day.

Our students are happy, cooperative, curious learners. We are family.

My Project

Our school does not have enough computers to meet all students' needs. The computers are used mostly for test taking and research. I would like to use Chromebooks to help me differentiate my math and science instruction.

The donations to this project will help my students become creators of technology.

My students need to learn to code. I would like for them to participate in "Hour of Code" and learn the basics of Scratch coding, but I do not want it to stop after one hour.

The Chromebooks will allow my students to continue investigating code all year. This is especially important for those that do not have computer access at home. Please support my project and help make this a reality.
