My students need Snap Circuit kits to help jumpstart our STEM learning.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Our classroom is a place where students feel comfortable taking risks and being challenged to think critically. Our classroom is filled with comfortable reading areas that assist in fostering great readers. I would like to provide texts beyond textbooks that offer high-interest reading.
My students are diverse in every sense of the word.
Most of them come to me with a love of reading, but some just haven't found the genre they love to read. I have some students who love to be seen and heard and others who are quiet and shy. My school is supportive of its teachers, and I am proud of my community and school district.
My students have a real love for science and seeing how and why things work. Snap Circuits would help them to learn about electricity and circuits. These kits will also encourage working with a team towards a common goal. Reading the directions for these circuits will also help them to build their nonfiction reading skills.
Snap circuits will help my students to become problem solvers in science.
Our school library has one of these kits and my students fight over who will get to be at this station. One of my students that can be a behavior problem LOVES to work on the Snap Circuit kits. Seeing the smile on his face when he completes the circuit is so rewarding!
