My Students

My students are energetic, eager to learn and fun loving. They come in each and every day ready to learn something new and exciting. Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is exposure or motivation. The students in my class strive for excellence. They all inherently care about one another and continually make an effort to improve in all aspects.

Our school is privileged to serve military families from the local Air Force Base.

We are a K-5 grade school in North Louisiana that serves approximately 750 students, with about 3/4 of them qualifying as economically disadvantaged.

My Project

I am asking for five Dell Chromebooks. They will become tools to make them more competitive to reach their goals. These Chromebooks will be used in reading comprehension, math, STEAM activities and other computer based programs required by the district. We have become a society of technology and our kids must be competitive in today's world.

These Chromebooks will make my students more engaged, more independent and more successful in completing class work.

Their time to reach their goals will become shorter. These Chromebooks will also provide them all the knowledge and information they need as students and as adults later on. Chromebooks will assist my kids in coming closer to making their goals in fluency with iReady, goals in math with Zearn and math fluency with Reflex.
