My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, I work with students who are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am determined to give my students the best education possible. My students are eager to learn, and I want to provide them with creative and meaningful learning experiences. It is my job to find ways to expose my students to information and resources that will help them succeed school and in life.

My Project

The Chromebooks I am requesting will help engage my students with interactive lessons and prepare them for an ever-increasing digital world. My students will be able to use Chromebooks to complete writing assignments, play interactive math games, conduct research, and practice typing skills. The Chromebooks will help meet the needs of students with varying abilities and foster learning in all areas.

Unfortunately, many of my students don't have access to technology at home.

The only opportunities they have are at school, and I want to give them the best experiences possible. Chromebooks will give my students the independence and creativity they need to be unique.
