Every day, 88 students come and go from my 7th grade Core classroom. I look forward to my daily interactions with them, guiding them through challenging curriculum and connecting them with ideas and concepts that are new and intriguing to them.
My students are bright, motivated, and full of curious energy.
Some are gifted, some have IEPs, but all of my students can be successful. They are very tech savvy and I learn from them, just as they learn from me.
My philosophy as a teacher is that I believe every student should be provided an environment in which they can learn. In my experience, every student will learn and my job is to provide them with the classroom environment where each and every student can be successful.
I have been fortunate to have received 14 Chromebooks over the past few years and have combined them with one of my colleague's Chromebooks to make our own class set. We have even received a beautiful cart from Donor's Choose that glides smoothly between our classes daily. We are both so grateful to Donor's Choose for making this happen!
Our Chromebooks are so loved and used almost everyday that four of them are tired and not working properly.
If we could receive four new Chromebooks to replace these unreliable computers our classroom cart would be complete again and students would not need to share anymore.
