The students in my classroom are kind, considerate, energetic and active! I am constantly looking for ways to keep them active and engaged. They are awesome students who deserve the very best!
I want all of my students to be as successful as possible!
As with any teacher, I have several tricks that I use to keep my students motivated. One of the biggest motivators with 3rd graders is technology! They love being able to use the Chromebooks in our building to play reading and math games. I love that they're learning while having fun!
My Project
The students in my classroom have one thing in common. They LOVE technology! We currently have twelve Chromebooks in our classroom. My students get SO excited when they are able to use the Chromebooks, so my goal is to get 21 Chromebooks for our classroom!
My students aren't the only ones excited about Chromebooks!
I LOVE that these Chromebooks keep them motivated! I've definitely noticed when students are able to use Chromebooks, they get their work done quickly...and it's done well! They WANT to spend time on those Chromebooks!
While using the Chromebooks seems to be all fun and games, I know the sites they are using are valuable education sites. They're practicing and reinforcing skills that will benefit them. Each day, we practice our math facts using Xtra math. The keypads will help my students complete their facts with ease! The management consoles will give me the peace of mind that comes with knowing my students are only able to access safe sites.
