My Students

My students are highly motivated to succeed. They are interested in current events, science, history, and the arts. These 5th graders come from families that want them to achieve a solid elementary education. The fundamentals and habits learned in my classroom will prepare the 5th graders for success in the upper grades. High school graduation and college enrollment is both an expectation for these families and a goal for my students. I am blessed to teach students who are driven to succeed.

My Project

Our classroom goal is to have a Chrome Book for each member of the class. Students will be able to use the Chrome Books for research, typing papers, presentations, and educational games. Having access to more Chrome Books in the classroom will allow students to complete their research and classwork in a more timely manner. Several times a year our computer lab will close so classes can take Assessments. Without our weekly visit to the computer lab it makes it extremely hard to finish research projects in a timely manner. Having a class computer lab will eliminate the problem and we can use the Chrome Books at our convenience.
