Help me give my students a fresh refill of supplies. Crayons, markers, and pens are a number one needed supply in classrooms. My students are creative, and creativity needs supplies to keep up with the little artists’ demands.
My kindergarten students live in a low-income rural area. Some never leave their small town they grew up in. I go into school each day with one goal in mind, to provide as much for them as I can to allow them to have the future life they want. I want to encourage and equip each student to give them a foundation on which they can build a bright future. I want to show them what is possible and prepare them as best as I can. I strive for them to know they have the opportunity to choose the life they want and not to feel as they only have one choice in life. I want them to see they can have many.
My Project
My students are always craving an outlet for their creativity. Their favorite part of the day is when they get to draw and share their creations with the class. They desperately need a fresh supply of art supplies just in time for the holiday season. Coloring is my class’ favorite thing to do and I’m so proud of their hard work and want to reward them with fresh new boxes of supplies. Fostering their creativity will make their excitement for a fresh box of supplies all the more special and exciting.
