Mrs. Sina from Detroit MI is requesting art supplies through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students some crayons for while they are in quarantine. I know it seems like a simple request but I am teaching art online and so many do not have crayons at home.

To introduce art to all the students in the school I want to ignite their imaginations and talents. It is a revitalizing neighborhood and a school where the students come first. We provide for many of their needs as possible to help them develop into well-rounded individuals. The area is being rebuilt and is filled with diversified economic families from low income, multicultural families, one-parent households, homelessness, and multiple families per one home.
To use their hands to create and make art at home during the quarantine fun and challenge them to use their time doing art.
This quarantine has made us find new ways to present art and need supplies to do that. So your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated and much needed for my students. The students and I truly appreciate all you do for us and know that without you we could not do the art projects to spark our creativity.
We are requesting crayons for my students to use at home. I am teaching ART through distance learning. I have found many of my students do not have crayons at home. School is going to be at home for many more weeks. I am trying to find a way to get them crayons so they can do their art with more than a pencil or pen at home.
Being able to color the art they draw not only is calming but makes them take pride in their at home artwork.
The principal is at the school everyday so he can get the delivery and I can pass out a box of crayons to each family. I know the parents and the students would really benefit from this.
