My Students

6th grade is a wonderful age to teach. My students are motivated to learn and are driven by the use of technology in so many aspects of their lives. These students are hard-working, creative and kind individuals; and given the right tools, they can accomplish many great things.

Curious, enthusiastic, and innovative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.

They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.

My Project

Although more than deserving of opportunities to thrive, lack of resources and tools have often limited the learning experiences that I can create in the classroom.

My students deserve the opportunity to develop the skills they'll need to compete in a tech-savvy and innovative society.

This why it's important for me to create engaging lessons that will support their critical and creative thinking skills!

Technology is a blueprint for success! By creating more interactive learning experiences for my students using tools such as Google Classroom, Coding with Little Bits, Khan Academy, IXL, Flipgrid, and performance equipment, they will have the opportunity to get engaged and excited about their learning. Being able to navigate with technology will ultimately lead to successful learning discoveries which will enable students to become innovated members of society.
