Help the future computer programmer, web designer, nurse, author, teacher, and business owner in my classroom feed the hunger of learning using academic technology programs.
My students are active learners who know that everyday will be challenging and fun. They love to learn and improve skills in math, reading, writing, and phonics, as well as, web-based academic games. They love every opportunity to use technology. I want my students to be successful in the world of technology academically and the appropriate use of technology.
My Project
Students will use these Chromebooks to work on interventions in their current skill deficit areas, as well as, extending current skills in a new way. The students will work to improve and extend their comprehension, phonics, math, reading, and writing abilities. Some of the educational web-based websites are zearn, engageNY, Tinker, ST Math, and Voyager.
By donating to this project, you can help my students use these learning websites and applications to work at their current levels without pressure and feelings of failure.
The students will be able to facilitate and stimulate their own individual learning during interventions and early finisher opportunities. Students will work within the teacher led small group, then independently to apply learning from the small group lesson. The benefit of these Chromebooks will offer my students an opportunity to excel and build self-confidence, using multiple personalized educational learning websites.
