Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My kindergarten students are creative, confident and bring happiness to the classroom! Many of our students are ESL and live in a high needs area. Though many are starting their learning journey, I can see their desire to grow in their intellectual and social skills.
I'm excited to see that my students are embracing our classroom diversity and learning atmosphere!
They arrive to school with open minds and a contagious smile. I can't wait to see how much they will grow as learners and citizens this year!
My Project
This year, our school supply list was shortened leaving many of our daily use materials out. In kindergarten, we go through supplies pretty fast because we have lots of cutting and gluing practice. In addition to our learning, we also try to keep up with our tables' cleanliness, so both of these will fulfill our crafty and sanitary needs in Kindergarten!
When it comes to reading and math centers, organization is key in our classroom.
Instead of having tubs throughout our room, I would like for our center materials to be in one central location, and the storage cart will do just that!
