My students need art supplies! I am requesting decorate your own aprons, decorate your own tote bags, markers, glue, sequins, and other materials for creative projects!
Art is the favorite part of my school week! It gives each child an opportunity to express individuality, be successful, and use their vivid imaginations. These types of creative projects build self-esteem and individuality.
I have twenty amazing students!
They are a mixture of transitional kindergarten and kindergarten age. These energetic children are enthusiastic and motivated learners! My pupils have a unique variety of abilities, interests, and learning styles. I hope to provide them with the appropriate classroom materials they need to help each child progress at his or her optimal level of achievement!
My Project
I love making sturdy art projects that parents can save as their children become older.
I am requesting design your own aprons and tote bags. These projects allow children to design materials that have a practical use. Wearing and using their own art will help build individualism and foster self-esteem.
The fabric paints, tacky glue, and gem stones will help add some "glitz and glam" to the tote bags, aprons, and other future art projects.
The wiggly eyes can help bring alive any lesson. Adding movable eyes to children's pictures, writing samples, etc. can make any lesson fun.
Markers are standard materials used in a kindergarten class. They can be used in many academic and creative lessons.
The yarn laces are "kid-friendly" strings good for beading. I love integrating art into math. Beading can teach children patterns and counting.
Thank you for taking the time to help support my project.
With major budget cuts, art is frequently left unfunded or with limited funds. I believe each child deserves a well-rounded education with the proper materials. Thank you once again for your support.
